From the sidewalk to Shark Tank

I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia as I reflect on 2022, when I bravely decided to take part in the selection round of Shark Tank Season 5. Back then, I was determined to push myself by joining a show that was all the rage, just to see how far my courage could take me.

I still remember the nerves I felt, bringing Tadah DIY kits (a brand connected to Suchin’s workshop sector) onto the stage. It was a moment full of uncertainty, but then I thought, “How would I ever know what I’m truly capable of if I don’t take the leap? After all, I was once bold enough to sit by myself on the sidewalk, selling flowers!”

Although in the end, I didn’t secure the deal I had hoped for, looking back, I realize that moment became a turning point. It was the spark that ignited my drive to push forward and never stop working toward the dreams I set for myself. Going through the experience opened my eyes to so much more. At that time, I realized, I was just a small fish in an enormous ocean, one that was waiting for me to dive in. As long as I stayed stuck in my comfort zone, I knew I wouldn’t be able to grow or embrace new opportunities.

And here I am now, two years later, still convinced that joining Shark Tank was one of the best decisions I ever made. Looking back, I see how every challenge, every moment of doubt, and every step outside my comfort zone shaped me into the person I am today. It taught me to be stronger, to dream bigger, and to believe in myself more than ever before. Growth isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it. ❤️
